Prospective international students must show proof of financial support for the term of study. Students must prove to the US government that they have enough funds to cover tuition and living expenses.
The total support that must be shown is $22,800.00 for one year of study. Since the holder of an M-1 Visa is not permitted to work in the United States, we are required to have evidence that the student has sufficient funds to cover the cost of the proposed stay. Acceptable documents include personal bank statement(s) or a letter of support and bank statement(s)from a family member or sponsor. You may also submit a letter of support from a scholarship or loan fund.
*All financial documents must be written or translated in English, and must show the U.S. dollar equivalent of amount on statement.

HEALTH INSURANCE REQUIREMENT
All students enrolled in the Professional Training Program and Intensive Training Program will be required to carry a health insurance policy. International Students may enroll in CareMed through DNA or provide other proof of insurance. U.S. students may contact Carolyn Cryer for information about affordable health insurance options in New York City.
